pale beer with a clean crisp taste and gentle bitter finish.
Ideal for a summer's day.
Originally brewed to celebrate the Waldron Cricket Club's
250th anniversary.
So, what's
the link with the USA?
July 4th is the anniversary of the approved wording, in 1776, of the
American Declaration of Independence from Great Britain or, as we like
to think of it, the day we got rid of a troublesome colony.
In fact, it was not actually signed until August 2nd which,
coincidentally, is the day (163 years later) that Albert Einstein wrote
to President Roosevelt urging him to start research into building an
atomic bomb.
The rest is history.
