Beers & Ales Woodfordes Admirals Reserve 5.0% abv The solid and generous sweet fruit flavour create a complex and satisfying dark Chestnut-coloured beer. B&T Autumn Porter 5.5% abv A Dark, complex, beer with hints of chocolate, roast malts and dark fruit. Brewed using Pearl Pale, Brown & Amber malts and roast barley with Challenger and Golding hops. Green Jack Baltic Trader Imperial Stout 10.5% abv Very Dark Brown with a beige head. Coffee and molasses aromas. Complex flavours include dark chocolate with spices, coffee, liquorice, molasses and peppery alcohol. Summerskill's Barley Mow 4.8%abv A smooth, clear, Dark Brown mild. Dry roastiness on the nose with hints of coffee and chocolate. More chocolate in the flavours and some dark fruits. Lancaster Blonde 4.1% abv A vivid Golden bitter with a slight citrus flavour and delicate biscuit overtone. Brewed using pale Maris Otter and Germanic style Munich malts with First Gold and imported Saaz hops. Marston Moor Cocker Dog 4.3% abv An oatmeal Stout. Black and smooth with roast & chocolate malts creating coffee and toffee overtones. Kelburn Dark Moor 4.5% abv A beautifully balanced Dark, fruity ale with undertones of liquorice and blackcurrent. Festival Brewery Ruby 4.7% abv A Ruby coloured strong bitter with a hint of liquorice and a rich, warming character. Ironbridge Four Candles 4.0% abv Originally brewed for Christmas 2008 and Brown in colour, Four Candles benefits from four different malts and four hop additions. Has nothing to do with handles for forks. Howard Town Glott's Hop 5.0% abv A very hoppy Straw coloured beer brewed with halcyon malt and Pioneer hops. It's light, strong and full of flavour. Traditional Scottish Ales Golden Thistle 4.2% abv A moreish Blonde ale with a fabulous fresh sharp taste. A popular seasonal ale which offers a light hoppy and satisfying aftertaste. Vale Hartwells Barn 4.1% abv A smooth Chestnut coloured bitter. A number of hops in another new combination make this unique brew well worth trying as the weather gets colder! Ringwood Huffkin 4.4% abv A full bodied Copper coloured ale with good floral and perfumed hop aroma together with a strong citrus fruit character. Taste is initial sweetness with clean bitterness, drying to an ashy burnt finish. Named after a hop-flavoured Kentish teacake. Yum! Brentwood Marvellous Maple Mild 3.7% abv A delicate Dark Brown Mild with just a hint of maple syrup coming through in the finish. Thame Brewery Mrs Tipple's Ghost 4.2% abv A fusion of Pale Crystal, Munich and Chocolate malts with Fuggles & Golding hops providing a rich, Ruby coloured ale. The first brew from Thame's new brewery! Ringwood Old Thumper 5.6% abv A warm, rounded yet surprisingly delicate Pale strong beer. A peppery, spicy, appley aroma gives way to a luscious balance of grain and hop in the mouth with a bitter sweet finish and delicate fruit notes. Northern One-derful Wheat 4.1% abv A 'wheat bitter' style. Quite dry & quenching, with a more English accent, rather than the unusual fruity and spicy flavours of a Belgian or Bavarian wheat brew. Named after a classic Northern Soul record label. Otter Otter Bitter 3.6% abv A beautifully light and fruity Golden session beer with a good refreshing, hoppy bitterness. Brewdog Paradox 10.0% abv Yes, it's back! At great expense and personal hazard your intrepid beer selector ventured far into the remotest parts of Scotland to bring you another barrel of this amazing Imperial Stout. Aged for 6 months in whisky casks this is sure to "knock ye wee heed off". Vale/HRAF Piltdown 4.1% abv Today is the anniversary, in 1953, of the exposure of Piltdown Man as a hoax. Our Auburn coloured Piltdown ale is a mis-brew of Vale Brewery's famous Wychert Ale. A "technical error" meant too much malt was added resulting in a stronger version than normal but, unlike the Piltdown Man, this can be revealed as a hoax upfront! Tryst Raj IPA 5.5% abv A full-strength Amber traditional India Pale Ale hopped with three popular British hops to produce a deep lingering taste complementing the underlying malts for a memorable pint. Green Jack Ripper Trippel 8.5% abv A champion Amber coloured Barley Wine. This multi-awarding winning brew is dangerously drinkable, smooth yet well-hopped and is certainly a match for many Belgian Ales. Rudgate Ruby Mild 4.4% abv A nutty, rich Ruby ale. Voted the Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2009 at the Great British Beer Festival. Three B's Brewery Shuttle 5.2% abv A strong Pale ale, light in colour with a well balanced malt and hop flavour. Superb fuggles aroma, long dry finish and delicate fruit notes. Idle Sod 4.2% abv A light Golden ale flavoured with Cluster hops giving a deep fruity aroma and a well balanced bittering. Vale Something Wicked 4.8% abv Based on the award winning Gravitas this Brown coloured ale is brewed to maintain the bitterness but with a strong, rich malt flavour. Wicked! Cairngorm Stag 4.1% abv A Mahogany coloured ale with medium to light body. Plentiful amounts of Challenger and Fuggles hops are added to give an initial bitterness that is then balanced by a caramel finish from the roast malts. Wadworth Swordfish Originally brewed to celebrate 100 years of the Fleet Air Arm, and named after the famous aircraft which helped sink the Bismarck, this is a Ruby coloured Classic English ale with the added gentle aromas and taste of Pusser's Rum. Yo ho ho! Northern Two Tone Stout 5.0% abv A rich, strong English style Stout brewed with chocolate malt. Tastes of dark chocolate, rum and raisin, and the burnt currants on top of a good rich fruit cake. Mmmmm, cake! Gayles Winter Brew 4.2% abv A rich, warm & satisfying Amber winter ale. A subtle blend of fruity and hoppy flavours. Allendale Wolf Ale 5.5% abv A beautiful Red coloured, full bodied beer taking its name from the famous Wolf of Allendale. With bitterness coming from Challenger hops and a fruity blackcurrant aroma coming from Williamette hops this really is beer with bite! Aaaaaooooooooo! Ciders Oh Sir Kite Bite 7.5% abv Medium Dry A two year old cider stored in low land Scottish whisky casks. Pleasant spirit aftertaste. Gray's Devon Cider 6.5% abv Medium Oak cask fermented 2008 cider. Brook Farm Draught Dry 6.8% abv Dry Rum Cask finish. Reddaway Farm Cider 7.0% abv Medium A one year old cider stored in Highland Malt whisky casks giving a distinctive smoky aftertaste. If you like Laphroag whisky then this is the cider for you. Westcroft Janet's Jungle Juice 6.8% abv Medium Dry Somerset cider apples produce a fresh nose of roses and ripe fruit hinting at pineapple, apples and bananas. A firm festival favourite!
