HADDENHAM REAL ALE FESTIVAL 5th July 2008
'Supporting Projects for Local Clubs & Organisations'
2008 marks the 5th year of The Festivals and our 6th festival overall including December's Winterfest. Last summer's sell-out event was enjoyed by around 1,200 people enabling us to raise over £10,000 which has been donated to various local causes. The total raised since we started is now just over £23,000.
This year's Festival will take place on Saturday 5th July and as with previous events it will be great fun for all - not just serious beer aficionados but families also. There will be a selection of entertainment throughout the event including a Jazz Band, Haddenham Hoofers & Morris Men. We will also have an all day B-B-Q and wine bar along with cold food and soft drinks.
The Festival has gained an excellent reputation throughout the Thames Valley with visitors coming from all over the area and, indeed, the country. For the past 4 years the Real Ale Festival Committee have been delighted to attract sponsorship from a wide variety of local companies who have enjoyed promotional opportunities for their business, both at the event and in the festival programme. We are looking to widen the opportunity to even more sponsors and therefore invite you to take part in this fund-raising event.
