Proceeds of the 2004 festival were used to buy and plant new trees in and around the village.
In June 2005 a special tree planting event was held when a red oak and a liquidambar were planted.
This brought the total number of trees purchased to 22, more than half of which have been planted
in various locations around the village.
A tree nursery has been set up at the allotments by tree warden David Rankin.
With a place to sit and admire what will be.
